justplainlawr Posted January 7, 2019 Share Posted January 7, 2019 Looking to add a couple of ATMOS speakers to my system. Is there much of a difference between the R-14SA and the R-41SA? This is meant for the 5.1.2 system. My Denon receiver manual recommended I place them on the fronts - any thoughts on placing the ATMOS speakers on the fronts instead of onto of the rears? felipe Posted January 8, 2019 Share Posted January 8, 2019 I don’t have any experience with the 14SAs, but I’m currently using the 41SAs and they do add a “height” dimension to the sound. Price wise I believe the 41SAs are on sale for about 300. In terms of a comparison, I believe the 41SAs are an improvement over the 14SAs due to the redesigned horn and improved tweeter.
