kindofsudden
Hi everyone, I have two models of in-ceiling speakers to be delivered by the end of next week (CDT-5800-C II and R-1800-C). However, I have drywall finishers coming over Monday morning. I have to think the holes will be easier and less destructive to cut in raw drywall vs. the textured finish, so I want to cut the holes this weekend. Problem is, I don't have the templates yet since the speakers have not arrived! Can anyone give me specs on the holes I need to cut for those two models? Thanks ahead of time, I appreciate it! CECAA850
Specs should be on the Web page but cutting the holes now or after textured will be the same ammount of work. Personally I never cut anything without the object being installed at hand. You can never recut the hole smaller.
kindofsudden
Thanks for the reply! I checked the web site and can't find the template or the specs. Was hoping there was an expert that could just give me a quick diameter to cut.
