bluelobster Posted October 23, 2002 Share Posted October 23, 2002 Last week I hooked up an amp I had been going over and when I powered up the brief flash told me I had a short. Unfortunatly my Quartet speakers were affected I think. The mids are real muddy now, especially sounds like guitars. I would appreciate any leads on where to look, hoping it might have stopped in the crossover network(open cap maybe?). The reason I found this out, I put my Scott amp online to give it whirl and thought it was the problem. Next bought my H-K amp into play and the problem still persists. Must be the speakers then.
