Quiet_Hollow
Haven't posted in a while, but got some new gear. Here's a video and subsequent walk around of the bedroom system. It's 2.1 for now. Pair of Frazier CAT 40 (Mitchell Acoustics) and my spare BF Auto Tuba (shown near the end) driven by the NAD c390DD and Mini DSP PWR-ICE250 respectively. Plan is to eventually have the two Fraziers sitting atop their own stereo subwoofer.
Moderators dtel Posted June 7, 2019 Moderators Share Posted June 7, 2019 Very nice, sounds good, no shortage of bass. I was a little surprised your camera picked up the bass, many don't. Just don't tell anyone I was in your bed listening to your stereo. .
Quiet_Hollow
Thanks Elden. The mic's are Roland CS-10EM into a Zoom H5. The bass is definitely a little too hot on this one, and I'm am going to have to compensate in the future by knocking 3-4 dB out of the subwoofer channel anytime I'm recording....probably woke your HLS up though! 😎
Quiet_Hollow
New video of yet another pair of repurposed CAT40. This time it's a buddy's system, driven with a trusty Panasonic and a pair of 15" servo-subs rounding out the bottom end.
