digjr Posted November 8, 2002 Share Posted November 8, 2002 I had been looking for some help on a pair of 8-HD horns that I got from EBay. I still don't know what model# the driver is but they are working again. The previous owner must have over tightened the 4 brass screws. I was in the process of taking one apart and hooked it up by chance. All of a sudden it worked! So I replaced the screws and while tightening the driver the sound became faint, loosen the screw a little and it works. Actually they both work now. Still part of the learning process.
