bpindy
I’m looking for suggestions on the “optimal” crossover settings on my receiver. I have an Onkyo TX-NR676 receiver. My center is a Klipsch R-25C. My fronts are Klipsch R-28F towers with twin 8”. My surrounds are Klipsch RP-140SAs mounted higher angled down. My sub is a Klipsch R-12SW. I am running the sub using the single cable and the LFE setting which I hear is definitely the way to go. I also know that 80Hz is the THX recommended setting on all speakers, but that’s generally for smaller bookshelf speakers. Thoughts or suggestions? pbphoto
Can you run the AccuEQ routine using Onkyo's microphone and let it pick the speaker settings and crossover frequency for you? (I'm not familiar with it - apologies if it is a dumb question.) Then you can tweak from there.
