xr3tf
Hi, I am new to this forum, and am from Brisbane, Australia. I recently purchased a set consisting of a pair of F-3 floor standers, a C-3 centre and a pair of S-3 surrounds, together with a Sub-12. I was really chasing the Sub-12, so will play around with the speakers to experience the horn loaded tweeters for a while, but would then probably move the speakers along and keep the sub (unless of course I get too attached to the speakers). I have a query regarding relative values of the mains, centre and surrounds, as there are not that many around to get a good feeling of fair value for these. From what I can see the ratio for mains : centre : surrounds is approximately 4.5 : 3 : 3. Would this be a fair distribution, assuming condition is the same on all the speakers? The surrounds are quite sizable so not sure what the demand for these would be like, so would hate to split the set and then end up with the surrounds only. Any suggestions welcomed.
