R 120 SW amp connection questions

Hi there,

I'm connecting this subwoofer to an old pioneer amp with a pair of PSB alphas. The amp is 120 Watt and 60 Hz. It has a pre amp subwoofer jack on the back for an RCA cable and I plugged the other end into the white/left/LTE port on the subwoofer. I assume that is the correct way to do it?

Also, how high should I now set the gain and the low pass control? For now I'm leaving gain at noon position which I believe is 0 Db, and low pass is at about 1:00. as I the manual says it should be higher for smaller speakers. Does that sound about right, or should I change things? Thanks in advance.

Ok, thanks. I thought you were supposed to use the white if only connecting one cable. At least that is what I thought it said in the very limited manual that came with the sub. the other option I was considering was an RCA split that went to both red and white on the sub.
