capta
I am considering putting the sub over the monitor in the corner of the room(I have a corner desk). Exactly how far away does the sub need to be to not interfere with the monitor? What does Klipsch recommend? Thanks.
Moderators Amy Posted April 4, 2001 Moderators Share Posted April 4, 2001 We don't have an official recommendation. Just far enough so it doesn't cause visible interference! --Amy
janko10
say's at least 10in. in the manual, but like amy says, as long as it's not interferring, then whatever suits you. i would however recommend putting it on the floor, as you said you wanna put it OVER the monitor, i assume on a shelf on your desk (frankly, i don't know any desk shelves that could house that baby J ------------------ JOIN THE "AMY FOR PRESIDENT" CAMPAIGN. Paragon
I would give it at least a foot or two.. probably 2. The magnetic field is quite large For soundwise.. I would just keep the sub near the floor and the room acoustics will probably help it our more when it is in a corner on the floor than if it were up the wall. Remember.. magnets are bad for tubes. Silver00Spike
Why is the sky blue?
capta
The sky appears blue due to refraction of light off the ozone portion of the atmosphere; ozone tends to absorb and scatter other wavelengths. The reasons I was thinking of putting it above the monitor are: 1) the floor is carpeted 2) the corner under the desk is somewhat restricted due to a file cabinet in the vicinity 3) Over the monitor there is plenty of space, plus I built a triangular shelf(31"x31") to fit the corner.
