ShakaUVMx Posted August 12, 2021 Share Posted August 12, 2021 (edited) Hi all, I just set up some new R-41PM speakers on USB to my computer, and noticed that when I start playing a YouTube video the audio doesn't come out of the speakers for the first half second or so. Every time, even if I rewind to the start of a YouTube video. Then it works and everything sounds great. It doesn't do this on my other set of speakers. I've tried adjusting everything I can think of on the Windows side of things. Do you guys have any advice on how to get rid of this annoying problem? On some songs where notes are played within the first half second (like Heaven and Hell) it's really annoying. It also doesn't play audio for a half second if you jump around in the video. If I have audio playing from another source (like another Youtube video) there is no gap in the audio playback. ShakaUVMx Posted August 27, 2021 Author Share Posted August 27, 2021 Well, I ended up buying an optical cable and using that instead of USB. That eliminated the short delay before audio started.
