  1. Klipsch are aware of the issue and are allegedly working on a fix.
  2. I am experiencing exactly the same. Did you figure out a solution?
  3. I've been using Fives for over a year and there is no way I can recommend them. They sound fantastic, but the firmware/software is really buggy. More details here
  4. I wonder if the Sevens and Nines have the exact same chip/board inside. If they have, then they're going to have the same issues/limitations that the Fives have.
  5. Hey! I've recorded this long-term review of the Fives listing my use cases and issues. I'm curious to hear if others feel the same way.
  6. I was pretty excited back when I created this thread, but during the least year I've been pretty dissapointed with the Fives. I've recorded this long-term review about the issues.
  7. I've recorded this video where I talk about this and other issues I'm experiencing with the Fives.
  8. I'm also experiencing the issue where the Fives will just shut down multiple times every day (yes, every day) when watching TV through HDMI ARC. Did you folks find a solution?
  9. Hey, I have The Fives (hardware reversion 2) and yesterday I updated my iPhone to iOS 16.3. Ever since The Fives have been constantly switching to Bluetooth input every few minutes when listening to audio through any other input. I pressed "forget bluetooth device" on my iphone, disabled bluetooth on my iphone but the issue still remains. If I factory reset my Fives and NOT pair them to my iphone then the issue is not there any more. If I pair the fives to my iphone again, the issue reappears (even if I unpair them and disable bluetooth on my iphone). Hence it seems that iOS 16.3 broke something in bluetooth. Is anyone else experiencing the same?
  10. After updating the Fives, the Klipsch Connect app now reveals a ton of new features!
  11. To enjoy the new features The Fives firmware needs to be updated. There's a new "Klipsch The Fives Updater" app that contains instructions about how to do that. It is a 2 step process: * Step 1 is about preparing a USB thumb drive and updating The Fives from that USB drive. But that is not all, because there's a second step. * Step 2 is about completing the update through bluetooth from the brand new "Klipsch The Fives Updater" app. Once the update is done, that app can be uninstalled because from that point on all updates will be delivered through Klipsch Connect app. No more USB flash drive or one-time-use "Klipsch The Fives Updater" app. Once the above is done, then make sure to have the newest Klipsch Connect app version 1.9.0, connect The Fives to your phone via bluetooth and the Klipsch Connect app will reveal a lot new features!
  12. Thanks for sharing! It actually does seem better in your case - if I had your pair it would not bother me.
  13. Hi, I recently got a new pair of The Fives. On the very first day I noticed that the control wheels are skewed and thus the right side of them are scratching/touching the silver panel. I returned the speakers back to the seller, but they are saying that this is by design. I really doubt that because judging from photos online and common sense it does look like a defect to me. I've attached photos to this thread and recorded a video as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24mSAiQj0tM Can you please check your The Fives and let me know if the control wheels on yours are the same? Adding a photo would be ideal. Thank you! Best, John
  14. Hey! I have the same issue with The Fives. Unfortunately, Klipsch's support is useless and I did not get any solution to this. Such a shame that the speakers have the issue. Oh and I've never been able to update the firmware as well.
  15. The same issue is there for The Fives. This is extremely annoying.
