rbrauser Posted December 21, 2002 Share Posted December 21, 2002 i am new to home theater, i just bought a denon 3803 rec. i am considering either rp'5 or klf-30's what do you think. will i need a subwoofer with the klf-30's, i also have a cr3 center channel and small quint's at rear already i will give them a try to see if they are adiquite. help i need to decide soon. i am ordering by phone and will have system shipped. no dealer close. manufanatic Posted December 22, 2002 Share Posted December 22, 2002 I have the RP-5s and i love them. The KLF-30s are great too but they are huge and not shielded. How big is your room if its larger then say 20-20 then maybe going for the KLF-30s with a RSW sub is the way to go. What are the prices you are being quoted? I know ONECALL had the RP-5s for 845 but they are out at the moment. I paid 1100 with shipping a year ago and like i said i love them.
