wegland Posted December 22, 2002 Share Posted December 22, 2002 Hi everyone, I have recently realized that my XP Profession emit a short echo whenever I stop my MP3 or after using Window Media Player. I've checked all my Creative Mixer and Window sound mixer, they are all normal and have none of the special effect turned on. I am currently using a Sound Blaster Live Value card (4 channels). GooseChaser Posted December 22, 2002 Share Posted December 22, 2002 try some other software to play those MP3s and if the problem persists its most likely the sound card. download all the critical windows update, get the driver updates from sounblaster.com and also update ur softwares like windows media player winamp and whatnot of course if those MP3s sound fine using other softwares, just don't use media player or try updating it. might as well update everything else too Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
