edreid
I recently purchased the rc 3 II center channel and am using my sony da5es receiver to power them. Im wondering if I should be using the double posts and how they work is that for bridging? Please forgive my ignorance. Ed
lynnm
The double connectors,( 2 black and 2 red ) are there to permit separating the High Frequency drivers from the Low frequency drivers for Bi-wiring purposes. In normal use the two reds are strapped together with a strap as are the two blacks. You may therefore connect your negative line to either black post and your positive line to either red post. edreid
Oh I see now. so if I remove the straps I can bi wire the highs and lows separate. I got it. Thanks. I should have known that my MB Quartz car speakers have the same thing.
