Bruce,

I am thinking about adding a pair of RS-7 in the config you mentioned. I have a pair of RS-7s now in a 5.1 config. I was able to compare them to RS3 in my HT. WOW the difference was amazing. the RS7 is a great speaker.

I look forward to hearing about your future setup.

I have a single pair of RS-7 as my side surrounds. Instead of having a second pair on the rear wall (and I do have a 7.1 reciever), I opted instead for a single RC-7 for the rear. I found I liked that better than having a second set of RS-7s. As to how you prefer to do it, try them out and see how you like it.

Bruce,

I upgraded from four RS-3IIs to one pair of RS-7s and one pair of RS-3IIs. There is no doubt that the RS-7s are much better. The pair of 3s will stay only due to space limitations.

I also got an improvement by going to 12 ga. wire from 16 ga. The run for the surrounds is the longest hence the most vulnerable to wire resistance.
