InnovaZero
Alright next tuesday, my friend wants to hear my klipsch's, he has the AL641's. He wants to have a sound challenge with me and basically I need to know how I stand in the following areas. Highs (Clarity, Detail) Mids (Warmth, clarity, presence) Bass (Accuracy, Tightness, "kick" ability) Crossover (Smoothness, Freq. response) Music Games Movies We are using a Audigy 2 as our sound card. I just want to know if I would do well against them...Thx!
InnovaZero
So nobody know what better then other (sats, subwoofer)?
glennbarn
I bought the 621 and was very disappointed after an hour of listening to it. In my opinion, the PM4.1 will still be a clear winner against the 641 in all categories you mentioned. My PM4.1 sits in my family room as my HT speakers. I managed to have the front speakers to act as the center speaker at the same time. I believe that your friend will be surprise and at the same time jealous. justin_tx_16
listen to both. both have better quality sound than the logitech Z-560. both sound great. i like pin point accuracy of the klipsch so i went that way.
InnovaZero
Which subwoofer do you think is better, I mean as far as power, "kick" ability, freq. response, clairty, etc goes? (By the way, the room is pretty big, if that matters any)
glennbarn
I have briefly listened to the 641 and I am convinced that the PM4.1's sub is better in clarity , freq. response and output power. If you're going to have this sound challenge for hours and hours, I suggest that you bring a portable fan for your sub. I assume that you will be using the same PC to test both speakers. I am confident that your PM4.1 will beat his 641, unless of course your unit is defective.
