Have read the topics on timbre matching and the speakers are no longer made. Would the reference series RC3 or RC7 work ? What about subwoofer ? T2K Posted January 14, 2003 Share Posted January 14, 2003 The correct matching speakers are the KSF-C5 center and the KSF-S5 surrounds. They appear sporadically on E-Bay and waiting for them would be worthwhile. Although I have never heard your Synergy's and a Reference center together, I imagine the timbre match would be poor. Better to be patient and buy the correct speakers the first time rather than spending good money and being unhappy, only to buy the correct speakers later. Good luck in the hunt!
