  1. Would like some information and assistance on being able to use my Klipsch KSF-10.5 speakers with both my stereo receiver and my new Apple iMac. What kind of switch or hookup do I need to accomplish this task ?
  2. Anyone have any experiences/opinions/likes/dislikes of the following integrated amps; Classe Creek Musical Fidelity
  3. Oldest equipment that is constantly used on regular basis and was purchased new; TEAC 4300sx (1974) Noticed alot have older equipment but it seems items were purchased used. My reel-to-reel allowed me to discard barely used turntable over the years.
  4. Last week ??? I missed another great event !!! DARN!
  5. Was wondering if the DFW (Dallas area) group is meeting anytime soon ? Thought I was on an email list but have heard nothing in long time. Just curious, Eric
  6. I believe awhile ago I was to be put on the DFW forum email list. I have not received any info about meeting times or anything such as that. I am still interested and look forward to broadening my Klipsch experiences. Eric
  7. Have attempted to follow the suggestions of the Scott 299 series of AMPS and would like to know what other models to lookout for in the AMP area as well as possibly their receivers also. These would all be their tube units, but if there are quality solid state units from the 60s, I would be interested in those too.
  8. I noticed items on ebay. Just not as thrilled with previously owned equipment from previous experiences. Might try with Klipsch after reading and hearing the comments here. Thanks for input.
  9. Well, thank you for the offer. It involves the topic of timbre matching. The subject is all well in good IF 1 can find speakers that are no longer in production (used) and go from there. But my question to Klipsch is what to do about matching current available NEW units. Specifically, I have KSF10.5 floorstanding speakers and was looking for a center channel, rears and a subwoofer. Was hoping they would make some suggestions and have seemingly fallen on "deaf" ears. Strange because a new purchase of their product is better than me buying someone's used Klipschs, correct ? So, that is it in a "nutshell". I am aware of the speakers that timbre match my units. Thanks for any advice or help on the matter.
  10. Trey, I sent you an email to your stated email address and as of Sundsy night, still have not received a reply. I can resnd to you, if you like, but the point is made that if a company has a website with a place for email, the least the company can do is either reply or remove the access. Make some kind of statement that using the phone is the only reliable method of communication. (as stated, not everyone can stay on the phone or on hold during a busy day) Eric
  11. Sounds interesting to say the least. Would like to be advised of a location and such. I can be reached at; ericleslie@yahoo.com I live in irving area. Eric
  12. Where are yuou located ? I am very interested in the center channel but for a good price might take the KSFs too Eric
  13. Would like some help/information on matching both a center channel and subwoofer to Klipsch main speakers (KSF-10.5). Have read the topics on timbre matching and the speakers are no longer made. Would the reference series RC3 or RC7 work ? What about subwoofer ? Use Klipsch or other companies such as HSU or Velodyne or others ?
