mainfraim Posted January 14, 2003 Share Posted January 14, 2003 It sounds like maybe I blew half of my subwoofer. These things have through hell with me. Too many parties at way louder than should have been volumes. Also dropped one of the satelites off of the 2nd floor onto someone's head (not on purpose), but a little super-glue and it was fine. My question is, is a good way to test to see if it is blown? If it is, can I fix it? I don't want to have to go through the decision of picking out a new speaker set. Thanks guys. prodj101 Posted January 16, 2003 Share Posted January 16, 2003 you could start by not using them for throwing a party!rent some commercial speakers like I do . you'll be able to tell if it's blown or not, the sound is very crackly and what not.
