safetynazi
I wanted to know if its normal for sound only to come out of the front channels when listening to mp3s. Also, is there any way to make sound come out of all 4 satellites when listening to music. Thanx

safetynazi
I try to stay away from Creative stuff. Im using the onboard AC97 w/5.1 on my Gigabyte ga-7avxp ultra m.b.
Big Sheesh
Use Winamp to play MP3. They sound more crisp and clear than using Creative music player. The latter sounds muffled and not crisp at all! Media Player is good too.
darkpark
yep. Winamp is the way to go. i would also recommend foobar2k. did your mobo/snd card come with some drivers and config utilities? also, did you configure your speaker setup (if you're running win2k or xp)? control panel -> sound and audio devices -> click on the advanced button. at the bottom, you can select the type of speaker system you've got.
