I have listening areas in my home and out in the shop, and I needed media storage in the shop. I try to keep things out there on casters for cleaning and rearranging so that's a requirement. When I looked online, there wasn't much that fit the bill and what did was expensive, so I started looking at DIY. I found this thread http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/record-bin-from-single-4-x-8-sheet-of-plywood-plans.337891/ over on Audiokarma.org and decided to modify it with CD storage drawer, slide-out lower album bin and a "now-playing" shelf.
