bkrop
My HT is in the basement, humidity controlled, but to save money I only heat the room when I am using it. So the temperature can vary from 58 without heat to 68 with it. I do not think this should harm the speakers or electronics, am I wrong? michael hurd
If the room has a dehumidifier, I can't see a problem with that. The change in temperature usually brings about condensation and moisture if it changes quickly. I would think that a gradual drop or rise in temperature should be just fine, as long as the humidity is kep in check. Btw, you should let the speakers warm up to room temperature before playing, as the rubber surrounds become a little more stiff in colder temperatures.
