thdrought
I currently have this crappy Sony Shelf unit which packs a whopping 75w to the main speaker, and 35w to the center and surrounds. I am now replacing the entire system and am now getting my RP-5's, RC-3 and RS-3's in any day now. Next purchase is going to be Onkyo's TX-DS989 Receiver, but have to wait two months for it. My dilemna is that I want to listen to my Klipsche now. Would I harm the speakers due to the lack of power from the Sony shelf? thdrought
I take it you are not satisfied with the Onkyo TX-DS989 receiver. It's supposed to blast 130w minimum to each or it's 7 channels. I want a 7.1 receiver. If not Onkyo, then could you recommend another. PS - I don't want to spend over $5000 for the receiver.
