Will a floor standing speaker stand that labels itself "universal" work on the satellites? or is there a particular "mount" type that is required?? dougdrake Posted February 10, 2003 Share Posted February 10, 2003 My only experience with Quintet speaker stands was about 1 1/2 years ago, and we used Furniture Works brand from www.audioadvisor.com. They came with 3 different brackets to use for connecting speakers to them, and one fit the Quintet perfectly (well, had to bend it just a bit to get the correct angle, but it fit the hole and the dimensions of the speaker well). smyle1 Posted February 11, 2003 Share Posted February 11, 2003 When I had the Quintets, I purchased a pair of Lovan speaker stands, (see attachment) and they worked fine. Have 6" x 7" surface area, and have pads on top. Also have spike feet (which can be added or not)...They worked very well. BTW, mine are for sale if you are interested.
