  1. When I had the Quintets, I purchased a pair of Lovan speaker stands, (see attachment) and they worked fine. Have 6" x 7" surface area, and have pads on top. Also have spike feet (which can be added or not)...They worked very well. BTW, mine are for sale if you are interested. Thanks Don
  2. OK, so no one is interested at this price...Well, make me a reasonable offer and we can do business. Thanks Don
  3. RJB... Thanks for the inquiry......I am asking $75.00 for the set (which is negotiable)...Can't speak to what you saw in the store, maybe I got ripped when I bought them...They are practically brand new though, nice for someone who can use them. Thanks Don
  4. Josh, Thanks for the question..Sorry for the delay in answering...The stands have a top plate area of approx 6" by 7"....Hope this helps...If you need anything else, please let me know.
  5. Hello fellow forum members, Just a note to let everyone know that I have a used Sony DVP-C660 5-disc DVD / CD player for sale. purchased new and used for a year and a half...Just recently purchased a new model and looking to offer a good deal. Some of the features are: DVD and CD text, Dolby Digital and DTS system output,(1) component and (2) s-video outputs, as well as coaxial & optical digital audio out, random play, VES (virtual Enhanced Surround) disk exchange, and much more. A great player for the money. Works perfectly. New it cost me nearly $400, willing to let it go for $125.00 plus shipping. Will be adding some photos later today or tomorrow. Don't delay, act now! (always wanted to say that, seems to work for the TV commercials) Thanks Don
  6. Fellow forum members, just a note to let you know that i have some Lovan speaker stands for sale....Pratically brand new, used for less than 4-months before getting the RF series and not needing them anymore.....Need to get rid of them...New, they sold for almost $200, asking $75.00 plus shipping....If interested, or have any other questions, please let me know. Picture is from the Lovan site, exact speaker stands as the ones i'm selling. thanks Don
  7. Thanks for all the responses....I feel I have to agree with you on the "stereo only" statements...Just has a better overall quality-more direct...Speaking of which, I put in Pink Floyd, The Division Bell this morning, Wow! I had forgotten how good this sounds, especially at just a slight volume increase (well maybe a little more than slight) just a great crisp recording, great work by Gilmore and the guys. Don
  8. I have an Onkyo 797 and have been playing around with all the listening modes for digital, PCM, stereo, etc....Was wondering what people have found to be the best listening mode for 2-channel stereo items, like CD's and records? I seem to waffle between plain stereo and PL11-Music... Any thoughts.. Thanks Don
  9. moK, I had those very speakers prior to upgrading and I used a pair of Lovan speaker stands for the fronts. they are two feet tall, and have a 6" x 7" speaker placement area. The Klipsch satellites fit nicely on them. I still have the Lovans, and was looking to get rid of them, since I have the RF series now, I no longer need them. I have included a picture link below. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks Don
  10. Wow, what a deal, if they are new....they have two more sets of the same ones for sale by the same seller...Get em while you can....I wish I had a chance like this before I purchased my set new for list....Ouch! Don

  13. Hello forum members, I have a pair of basically brand new Lovan speaker stands that I am looking to sell. Bought new, used maybe two months before getting the RF series, and not needing them anymore. See photo, but basically the are 2' high, with 6" x 7" speaker placement area. comes with spikes for bottom that can be removed. New they were nearly $200, asking $75.00 plus shipping. Let me know if you are interested. thanks Don
  14. Well, sorry to say that I have sold 2- satellites and the center channel on ebay... Wanted to give them a good home to someone on the forum, but no takers. Decided to keep 2- satellites and upgrade to 7.1, using them as my side-surrounds.... Thanks for the interest Don
  15. Man, I'm really sorry about that...Hated to get your hopes up....Must happen a lot..... Don
  16. OK, I unfortunately had to back out of my offer to Imel, as he lives in Indonesia..Sorry for the confusion....However, I am still interested in selling these speakers...So if there is anyone out there interested, and you live in the United States, please let me know. Thanks Don
  17. Imel.... Make me an offer, and we'll go from there..really wanted to sell the whole set, but maybe two sets would be good enough. Don
  18. I use ebay quite a bit, but wanted to give members of the forum first crack at them. Feel like they would be more interested in these specific items... If not, I'm sure my wife wouldn't mind me adding these speakers to our master bathroom Could always use some additional sound there, besides, that's where she spends a majority of her time anyway. Don
  19. OK, OK..... Since no one has expressed an interest in this package, I am going to drop the price to $250....Very Fair I think. Don
  20. I am selling the 5-speaker set, 4-satellites and a center channel. They are black, used for less than a year prior to purchasing the RF series. Excellent used condition. A couple of minor scratches from the wall mounting process, but other than that, good to go. Looking for $275 for the set. Any takers... Don
  21. I am a realively knew member, and I was wondering if there was a specific area where I could let members of the forum know that I have a set of Klipsch Quintets for sale? Didn't see a specific "seller" section. Thanks for the information. Don
  22. It's nice to see that the world still has a since of humor. Funny posts! Didn't mean to sound all "gushy", but when you have worked as long as I have to get my system set up and sounding as good as I knew it could, it's nice when it finally happens. Smyle1
  23. This is more of an observation post than a question. I just wanted to say that i recently purchased an Onkyo 797 to power my Klipsch RF3's, RS3's, and RC3. All I can say is WOW! I can't believe the difference this new receiver made with these speakers. I never knew how good they could really sound. I have watched a couple of my DVD's that I had watched with my previous receiver, and it's like watching them for the first time! Cannot believe the improved quality, the tighter bass, and the overall better sound. I then read about bi-wiring... I know many were skeptical, but I tried it, and found it DID make a big difference. I felt the bass was much better, and the clarity just jumps out at me now. So, anyway, as I said, just an observation. Thank goodness I purchased these speakers, and got a receiver with enough power to show what they can do. Smyle1
  24. Wow! another great idea. I knew that the RS3's had the keyholes on the back, but didn't see any mounting plates with any of the speaker brackets that could use those. adding a "spacer" is a great idea. I really wasn't comfortable with drilling into these wonderful speakers. Thanks Don
  25. Hornblower, Thanks for the information. That just might work. A small platform with a built in lip, and presto...Great idea. Smyle1
