kjohnsonhp Posted February 11, 2003 Share Posted February 11, 2003 I don't know if I'm just mentally focused on the highs, or if something has change with my system or ears, but I'm starting to hear cymbols from the tweeters more distincly than before.....the tweeters seem to be more notable than before. Maybe part of it is my more frequent use of CDs in the DVD player or maybe I've just analysed the sound too much. I bet a Rega Planet would warm up my CD sound. The imaging seems better... I think it's a combination of going through a long stretch of vinyl only and then back to CDs PLUS a mental focus on the sound. The ST-70 connect to my Outlaw w/Cornwalls is still pretty bright but I assume things will warm-up when I add a tube pre-amp. I'll sleep on it.
