Abuzah Posted February 15, 2003 Share Posted February 15, 2003 Hey guys. I just picked up two Klipsch SB-3 speakers. I played it on low volume for maybe 30 minutes or so, then turned it up to a moderately high level. Soon after I did this, I realized that on some bass notes, one of the speakers would distort. I'm thinking that the woofer is blown. I highly doubt that this just happened in the 90 minutes I had the speakers running, but I'd just like to be sure. Any ideas as to why this could happen aside from a defective woofer? Also, is there any chance that the speaker blew because of my doing? Or is this most likely a factory defect? Thanks so much.
