Big_Dog Posted March 26, 2003 Share Posted March 26, 2003 Any adjustment of the volume control on my 4.1's pod causes 'crackling' in all speakers. Sound quality is good otherwise except for a popping that occurs sometimes starting or exiting an application. I originally thought this was a soundcard problem but recently upgraded to audigy 2 on a complete new system and the 'crackling' noise occured immediately after a clean install when adjusting the volume control on the pod. It does not crackle when adjusting the volume from the control pane. This is a clean install on a completely new system using the same 4.1's.
