tpg
I created an ultimate sub test CD out of boredom... track list is as follows: (some are more towards system test as well) 1KHz SW (SW=sinewave) 500Hz SW 250Hz SW 150Hz SW 100Hz SW 90Hz SW 80Hz SW 70Hz SW 60Hz SW 50Hz SW 40Hz SW 30Hz SW 20HZ SW 18Hz SW 16Hz SW 14Hz SW 12Hz SW 10Hz SW 1KHz-500KHz SW sweep 500-250Hz SW sweep 250Hz-100Hz SW sweep 250Hz-50Hz SW sweep 250Hz-20Hz SW sweep 125Hz-15HZ SW sweep 125Hz-10Hz SW sweep 125Hz-10Hz/125Hz-1KHz SW sweep 100Hz-20Hz SW sweep 40Hz-10Hz SW sweep Midbass TW (triangle wave) sweep1 Midbass TW sweep2 Low-bass TW sweep Sub-bass TW sweep Some of these have signal down to 7Hz... so... how low can your sub go? LOL Probably not THAT low. Might hit 18Hz alright... If I could figure out how to make a disc image of this CD, I'd post it for those interested in sub testing. I am NOT responsible for misuse of test CD!
glennbarn
If you can create a high-quality WAV file out of it, you might be able to share it with all of us here !
tpg
I have wavs of all the individual files... if you want one I can email them. The midbass and low/sub bass tests are my favorites... they sound similar to the THX thing.
Scipio80
.wav's have to be enormous. but mp3's would probably mangle the singnals unless you went with loss-less compression, but then you'd be getting back up into .wav file size again. There's probably no good way to do that, too bad, it sounds like a killer CD.
TauRus
Well, you actually can create a CD image using any of the widely distributed utilities, for example CloneCD.

I have a test cd for car audio that cleans my blinds for me on demo's of the subs and yes I have been to the SUB terrain.
