Audio Flynn
Just got my VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine last friday. It is quite amazing how much more detail comes from an LP. If you play more than 10 hours of LPs a week it is a most necessary tweak to the system to get the full value of vinyl playback. Most of my records look clean and are dry brushed with the Audio Quest carbon fibre brush before I clean them with the VPI. It is amazing how dirty the cleaning fluid looks when emptied out of the reservoir after cleaning a few LPs. After using a Discwasher from 1976 to 1991 before i went on an all digital sabatical until now; I am sure inferior cleaning was one of the reasons my old LPs sounded so undynamic. A no brainer good investment!
