RickMo
I came into a small windfall and can treat myself to a new sub. From reading these Forum comments, I'm sold on a the SVSes. Now, it's a choice between the PB1 or 2039. I've got enough room for either so that's not the problem. I'm wondering what the differences are performance-wise between the two. RickMo
Oops. Forgot to mention that I was referring to the 2039 PCi. Also, I'll be using the subs in conjunction with Forte IIs.
fabulousfrankie
The PB-1 is essentially the same 25-31Pci tuned to 22hz. I'd guess from about 22-25hz and up the PB-1 should have a little more max output(maybe 1-2db). But below below that, the 20-39Pci will have the clear advantage(maybe 2-3db more) and actual in room response should extend to somewhere around 17-18hz. I haven't checked it out, but I'd image shipping would be significantly higher on the PB-1 due to it's higher weight
RickMo
That's sorta what I figured. I ended up ordering the 2039. The shipping is a bit more for the PB-1 due to its weight and that was a factor too. SV even shipped the 2039 the same day!
