lovedrummin Posted May 28, 2003 Share Posted May 28, 2003 Good show. I had forgotten it was on and was playing on the net. My wife had it on and saw Clapton and called me in the room. I think one of the coolest parts of the show was when Leon Russell and Ray Charles were doing "A Song For You". Willie looked like he was getting a little choked up. Great show over all. It was indeed a special night for him, and a fantastic concert. He has such a broad appeal. I remember one of his first picnics, down in Austin. Talk about a diverse crowd.
