legend9
hi, I was advised adding an amp to my current setup would benefit me more than buying a denon 4802, replacing the 3802. Is this true? I mainly use my HT for karaoke (2-channel stereo), and sometimes movie and music. Should I upgrade? If so, what is a good amp for my situation? easylistener
I added a 2 NAD 2200 for the stereo of my 4802 and it was a great improvement. I bridge both for 400watts for left front and right front. Check out the HT area I started a thread and get into more detail.
cyclonecj
What are you trying to upgrade? Do you want louder, cleaner, or both? It would also help to know what speakers you are driving. I run my mains through an external Adcom amp. I had all seperates before I started my home theater, but I was not willing to let my music source suffer. I still run the Adcom pre-amp for critical music playback.
