Strabo Posted June 10, 2003 Share Posted June 10, 2003 I've been waiting over a month for this thing only to find out it is manufactured by Crest. After the DSOTM debacle I'm kinda scared to get it. Has anyone heard anything about disc cracking issues on this yet and if they have been fixed? Strabo Posted June 12, 2003 Share Posted June 12, 2003 You probably don't have the US copy made at Crest, or you have a later version. Mine, and many others, has 5 cracks round the spindle hub. Some have more cracks, some less. There were also reports of other discs from this plant having cracking issues. I find it rather disturbing that they haven't recalled the defective discs. Instead EMI is counting on the double sales from people replacing their own cracked discs.
