It depends on what kind of warrantee and service you are getting. I recently bought all my new equiptment from a brick and mortar authorized dealer, because the warrantee and customer service are important to me. I paid him maybe $150 or $200 more on about $2000 of gear than I would have from a "rock bottom" internet dealer, but for that money I have the manufacturer's warrantee, and a great deal of convenience. My other option was to buy online from www.acousticsounddesign.com which has a good reputation, has been around for a long time, offers very good prices, and offers their own warantee equal to the manufacturer's. They are not an authorized dealer and the manufacturer warantee, at least for Klipsch, is voided.
