chinoloco
As many of you know, I have been using the quintets for my bedroom set. Since I like to go and get 7 speakers for this as some movies are trying to support 7.1 and 6.1 formats, I have some options to what to do. Any ideas or thoughts would be nice... Here are some of my thoughts. 1. Get an additional 2 Quintet speakers. Everything will match and you have 7 little speakers around the room. 2. Get a pair of SB1 and try to hang them on the wall where the Quintets are right now. Move the quintets to the back of the room as additional surrounds. I really would hate to try to get stands. I want them out of the way. One difficulty is not be able to toe/angle them in. 3. Get a pair of SF-1 speakers... its a little in the way, but I don't have to worry about my 2 year old daughter knocking them off the stands. Any comments? I know the sound quality will be much better with the SF/SB and if I do this, will I need to update my center as well? The reason to go with SF/SB is better 2 channel sound. chinoloco
Just an update... SB1s were won on Ebay. I guess I will know really soon if the quintets are going to get the heave ho or be intergrated with this line up. who knows.. maybe I will end up with 4 Sb1s and 1 SC.5 and move the quintets to another room.
