Vavoline
Ears, I know you are fond of the Sunfire Sig Subs. I have an opportunity to get one (demo) for $1498 USD. As I understand it, this 13" cube will hit 116 db or so. But how low will it go?
TheEAR
The Signature is solid down to 20Hz,where it will output around 100dB.At 25Hz it outputs 109dB and 117dB at 32Hz. This depsnds greatly on the room its used in and position.Corner loaded in a smaller room you can add 2-3dB.And substract 1-2 in a large room. The Signature is a very capable subwoofer,a real house shaker.
InnovaZero
I also have a SunFire Signature, and also give my certified sub bass shake factor approval. It does 20hz with good power, and at 30hz it will shake the very foundation of the earth. (My measurements be 103db at 20hz, 110db at 25hz and 118db at 31hz). Well worth the price. The fact that all this power comes from a little 13" box will impress even car SPL monster lovers. Solid build, a tank like driver with 2 1/2 excursion limits, that pound 70-85pds of air pressure force. Its a sub bass mini monster...nuff said. odiedarklord
well i have a question i have never heard of the sun fire subwoofers before. And i went to there website and looked. Wouldn't the mark IV be a better speaker? It goes lower and it is in a smaller box.
InnovaZero
The SunFire Signature is 2"2"2" bigger, has 2hz more depth, and is 4-8db louder, Moves over 100 cubic inches more of air volume (360 vs 235 CuInch's), and has less distortion...then the Mark IV subwoofer.
