tsengan
I recently got the floor stands for my 4.1s (I got them in Canada, while I was on holiday - I live in Australia). So...how the devil do you get the existing table stands off the satellites??? They were attached out of the box and are screwed in so damned tight! I've pretty much reamed one already (using an electric screwdriver) and it hasn't budged...
pinipig523
careful man!! i think you just unscrew it, pull the stands back towards the rear of the sats - and then you are homefree.
tsengan
yah, but the problem is the unscrewing in the first place. Damn but these things are in tight. No amount of reasonable force is budging them, and any more force starts will damage the screw. *grumble grumble* It's really peeving me now...might take it to a shop. Hopefully they won't destroy my speakers.
pHEnomIC69
They are sealed very tight, i put a screwdriver inside and turned the satellite, make sure you mturn the right way. When you turn the satellite it gives you enough force to take it off.
tsengan
Hmm... that could work. Thanks for the tip.
tsengan
Alright!!! Finally got the screws out. Thanks for the tip! WOOO! Much better. I can finally bring the rear right closer to me, and get it away from the electrical interference... *does happy jig*
