DaveBR1
I have had the RC-3 center channel speaker for about close to a year now and I never had thought about the idea of taking it off for better sound quality for 5.1 use. I have seen pictures of most home theater systems with it off including the RF-3. Does it make a difference?

Lone Palm
My RC-3 and Heresys sound more defined without grills. They sound like a veil has been lifted. I leave them on when not in use.
