Salukione
I am looking to switch out the speakers I am using for my Surround Sound. I was using old Bose 4.2. I have KSF 8.5 with a SC-1. Which SS speakers should I get? When I mount them, should the speakers be on the side walls or directly in back with the speakers pointing at the back of my head? dougdrake
The SS-1s would be the way to go - the SS-.5 are too small for your setup. The WDST design of these makes them very flexible with regards to placement, but I believe the "ideal" location is 6-7 feet above the floor on a side wall, at about 4 or 5 o-clock with respect to your head, as you face forward. All that depends on how far you are from them, of course.
