MotorHead Posted October 11, 2003 Share Posted October 11, 2003 My new Kenwood 7080 Home Theater system seems to be lacking something with the original R3 setup (RC3, RF3's RS3's, KSW12). I like the sound and I really like the speakers for music, but it was very light on rear movie effects, such as Gandalf leaving the barn in LR2. The Amp has some sort of a virtual rear center channel that can also be used for a sub(?), depending on how you set it up on the Amp. I put it on the "rear" setting and hung a big old Fischer on that output and it seemed to give me a little more kick on rear effects. So, I'm thinking I should put an RC3 back there. I think an RS would also work fine, but can't seem to find them except in pairs. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks! Jim Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
