Manuel Delaflor
I wonder if their sub can really reach in to the 30s (Hz). I know is rated to 29Hz and I know the 5.1s can reach 30Hz with relative easy. I know also that Mark on 3dss measured it at -5dB at 30Hz... But I want to know if those numbers correspond to the owners experiences on the forum.
Manuel Delaflor
... Im guessing no bass limits or no bass freaks on the 4.1 forum...
MD1032
Download the NCH Tone generator (search or use the link in my thread below) and test for yourself. Great little program.
Manuel Delaflor
Well, I don't have them... that's why Im asking!
InnovaZero
The sub will reach 30hz, but at lower volumes...so to your question. 35hz with decent volume for the 4.1 system.
Manuel Delaflor
So, 35Hz would be their bass limit. Good enough.

It actually does reach 30Hz if its fairly far away from where youre listening. I should know. I live in a concrete dorm hall.
MD1032
It starts rolling off around 40-50 hz. 30 hz is basically a whisper, even at max volume.
Manuel Delaflor
For me, 30Hz with power is definitely desirable, 35Hz would be enough though.
