Mike Lindsey
I just ordered some RS-3's to go with my CF-2's and KLF-C7. I was wondering how you guys were wiring those? Will a dual banana plug work? 5-way binding post or spades? Thanks, Mike
jeffgeorge
I just used the bare wire approach. I know it would be better to use spades or banana plugs, but seeing as though you don't have much room to get them wired and hung on the wall, it was the best solution for me. ------------------ RF-3's : mains RC-3 : center RS-3's : surrounds KSW-12: subwoofer Receiver: Denon 2801 DVD: Panasonic DVD-A120 CD: Yamaha CDC-765 Cables: Tributaries Sat Receiver: Hughes Direct-TV DD5.
Mike Lindsey
Thanks, Jeff! I am going to be using the Omni-Mount bracket which should have them about 2" from the wall. On the KLF-C7, you can remove the insert plugs on the back of the post and insert a banana plug. Can you do the same on these? Thanks again, Mike
jeffgeorge
Yes, the RS-3's will accept banana plugs. That is probably your best bet if they sit a few inches off the wall. Good luck, and have fun!
