cdsang
I just ordered a new DVD player to replace my PS2 as a DVD player. Also the CD player kinda sucks to. I had a $300 all in one system that had a CD player that played better. Anyway, its not much, but I ordered the Onkyo DV-SP301. Has progreissive scan and 192 kHz DACs. Its just something till I can get something better. Like a Denon DVD-2900 or something like that. I bought an Onkyo for my parents and noticed its pretty decent. No progressive scan and just simple 96kHz/24 Bit DACs. I haven't heard the one I orderd so I just bought it on experience and I couldn't stand not haveing a real DVD player. Also, sometimes I want to listen to different music while I play. What are your thoughts on Onkyo DVD player I ordered? CD
cyclonecj
I have the Onkyo DV-SP500 & it works great. It replaced a much higher priced Sony that quit after a year, & the picture quality was much better. I actually like it much better than the Denon 1600 we have in our theater at my work.
