I also happen to have Forte's, but not for sale or trade. If you had Cornwalls and were downgrading, THEN I would be interested! I'm using Wharfedale Emerald 99's at 88 db sensitivity. They sound great. Would a step up be Forte's at 98 db? I've located a pair of Forte ll's for $500 if I pick up. dougdrake Posted December 14, 2003 Share Posted December 14, 2003 Those Forte's will take about 1/8 the power it took to drive the Wharfdale's at the same volume. I think you'll like them. For $500, if they are in great shape, you can't go wrong.
