I find some problem while I playing VCD "Gladiator", don't know if you guys have this problem too? First, my sound card is Sound Blaster Live value, and the software I use to load VCD is Creative Player. While playing the movie, especially in War scene. I find that the Bass become blur/ boomy (I set my volume in Window to 75%. My speaker was set to 33% in bass and 65% in volume). However, when I listen to my CD, there is no problem at all. farout Posted June 15, 2001 Share Posted June 15, 2001 If the sub is bottoming out it probably because DVD's encoded w/Dolby Digital & DTS use "LFE" Low freq. effect. Very hard on subs not intended for freq. in the mid 20hz. with high gain. Just lower your sub setting or volume. If I messed-up on my exp. please forgive me!
