I'm knew to the whole home theater setup and such, but i've set my mind to klipsch because I have their promedias and love them. I'm planning on getting the new RF-7 floors and eventually get hte new surrounds a center and a sub... Right now i'm wondering what is a good receiver to get to power these guys... I've heard kenwood has a new set of receivers coming out very soon that should rock the world... but i've also heard that pioneer elites are excellent... Could someone please enlighten me?

Take it easy,

Hi

We have had excellent results with both the

Onkyo and Denon receivers for the Klipsch line

They seem to sound warmer and less etched than the

other brands. The new Onkyos will give you the biggest

bang for the buck as of now, with DTS-ES and DPLII

now being offered in there Mid-Priced line up

I have not seen the new Kenwoods but judgeing from past preformance I would rate them a couple steps

down from these two

Nick, you should also look at the Outlaw line of receivers. I have a Harmon Kardon that I love, but I know there are a lot of really happy Outlaw Klipschers. It seems to be the most bang for the buck available on the market today.

Good luck and enjoy!

JT
