I've been eyeballing and drooling over the GMX A-2.1s, but on eBay found the v2.-400s, same price, even a couple bucks cheaper. On this board I see a lot of complaining... is it worth it? The 4.1 surround isn't very important, but the numbers these speakers put out are more impressive than the GMXs. Would I end up regretting this in a year? Are the GMXs more durable? 007 Posted January 6, 2004 Share Posted January 6, 2004 whatever you get, get a warranty, the 4.1's are going to blow away the gmx, but the gmx look a lot better : I would get hte gmx if you only want music and you dont require turning your system up to ear hurting levels. gmx can still go very loud i mean after all hey are klipsch. also dont get the V2.400's get the newer 4.1's becuse the contorl pod is much better. you can get em refurbished with a 90 day warnety off klipsch for like 129. I think I'd like to get the 4.1 Klipsch Promedia speakers but I can't figure out where to place the order at the web site. Just call me a "noobie" who doesn't know what he is doing! DUH!
