Where In Canada Can I Get A SWS Sub???
jackson_ngo replied to Enisada's topic in General Klipsch Info

i've left my 4.1 on for nearly 1 yr, unless i'm on a long holiday away from home.

jackson_ngo replied to MeeCrob's topic in Personal Music Systems

i was also thinking of getting some RSX, but i'n not sure whether they've reached my shore. I'll pay a visit to my local dealer tomorrow.

hi all, i'm think of setting up a new HT system with either the quintet or some klipsch bookshelf for a 5.1 system. I'm not going for floorstanders because of space constrain. Can anyone guild me along? i'll be using an yamaha amp to go along with it. Which model of yamaha amp will be better? Buget around $3000 for the entire set-up. Thanks

thanks for your replies, i should how what to do now

Hi all, I'm now interested in building up a home theater set. i've came across some yamaha amps and found out they have an output of 8ohm impedance, but the speakers i came across are running at 6ohms. will that affect the sound or damage the speakers?? Thanks alot

I was worried about my system breaking down last night when my rear-left channel went so much softer than the others channel. Tried the cleaning kit and it helps. my rear-left went back to normal

bass is never a problem, there are plenty of subwoofers out there. using all 4 speakers of a 4.1 system from a stereo source is going to cause a stereo reflection. rear channels are mainly used for sound effects(eg. in movies and games). -

If your system is still under warrenty, i'll advice u to sent it back to klipsch for your warrenty. -
M3 had the HK build-in

This could very well be the best audio player for the computer I've ever seen. Now onto a couple problems....... #1 The Subwoofer: Even in "standby" mode the thing is still warm, meaning there's still current being drawn to it. I've read on here that it is NOT a good idea to unplug it? It's no wonder why people have these subs crap out on them all the time, if they're constantly on 24/7. #2 The Headphone Jack: This is just awful. The "main volume" on the control pod doesn't work at all when I have headphones plugged in. I have to use the Windows volume control, which is sh*t. Any solutions? ---------------- The amp is going to be warm even if u leave it on stand-by mode, it's normal. The volume knob should adjust the overall volume and headphone volume together. If it does't, i think u have a faulty preamp -

the 4.1 isn't much louder than the 2.1. It'll be a waste if u bought the 4.1 just for extra loudness. Try to use your 4.1 in surround using a surround sound card. It's worth to upgrade the cables. -
go and read it up under the FAQ of the PM4.1. The 4.1 does't cancel out even if the headphone jack is in use, U need to mute the speaker with the stand-by switch. Ask the others 4.1 users if u does't believe it.

i've added an additional sub, i connected the sub to the headphone jack on the preamp. using RCA to stereo mini jack. Upon adjusting the volume knob, the sub adjust with the overall volume together.

Enough of these sad topics, WHO LOVES THEIR KLIPSCH?
jackson_ngo replied to LNEtubaPLYR's topic in Personal Music Systems
my 4.1 had been spending some 10 months together with me, still sound very good. No plan of changing until she breaks down. -
passing through a stereo signal source into 4.1 does't seems good.

i thought the M3 came with harman kardon system

why are the surrounds so much louder than the fronts?

check the front and rear fading level of your soundcard -

jackson_ngo replied to emmpeethree's topic in Personal Music Systems
the rears should not be louder than the fronts. the front speaker is the main channel, the fronts are the one who should be doing most of the job. My rear are mostly mute unless playing a movie with 5.1 or more, or gaming -
there are actually countless numbers of good cables around. Maybe u can pay a visit to some shop specialise in making mod cables.
