kenratboy
I know this post has no relevance to this area, but Ill put it here anyway. I have a very general question, just for fun. Any idea what Klipschs master plan is over the next decade or so? What will they focus on? Will they eventual discontinue the Heritage line to become mainstream and save money (I know some of you, including me, would sh!t a brick if that ever happened.) This is just a general question about there future; any replies would be very interesting. Thanks!
jdm56
As I am certainly not privy to the goings on at Klipsch board meetings, I can only go by what they've done in the recent past, and by what they've said. They do seem to be trying to go where the money is. Can't blame them for that - they have to eat, too. But that is generally into the home theater/computer/custom install areas. After all, us traditional audiophiles seem to be going the way of the dinosaur. They say they have no plans to abandon the "Heritage" loudspeakers. I'll take them at their word. But I'll feel a lot better when they actually start shipping them again. -I WANT MY BELLE!s> ------------------ JDMcCall
DwK
I would like to see the recreate the Heretige line. Fully Horn loaded speakers, with the latest technology. I realy wanna see where Mondial goes, and How that works out for Klipsch. Would like to see how Klipsch products and Mondial products work together, and how, if, they make the 2 fit together, like they were made for each other. Also, where the go in the Computer Area. Did they forget bout the customer happieness, and go for the money, by not adding Digital to the new 5.1's or even the 4.1 Pro Media sets? Just so they could sell the new Digital Decoder? Or to leave it open for a new product in the future? I'd also like to see, how they try and move into the Mainstream.. where good money is. Moving them selves into Best Buy, and taking over Bose as the household name in High End speakers amungst normal people. I cant wait, for the day I walk in to Best Buy and back to the Speaker area, and see a Pair of RF-7, a Heresy or anything Klipsch. (Pro Medias in the Computer section doesnt count) ------------------ Living Room: Yamaha Natural Sound A-500 Stereo Amplifier 2 Klipsch Heresys on A switch 2 Fisher STV-873 on B switch My Room: Klipsch Pro Medias 2 Fisher Surrounds
